"Pretty decent, not totally perfect"
Not gonna lie, I bought this from Viridian Bay for our patio and it’s been decent so far. It’s handled rain and a few windy days without rusting, and the fabric does dry quicker than I expected.
That said, after a couple months, I’m starting to notice some wear around the edges, and one corner doesn’t feel quite as solid as it did at first. It’s not a bad buy, but for the price, I was hoping it would feel a little more durable

"Decent at first, but the deal kept changing"
Viridianbay.com was okay overall. At first, the prices looked decent, and I did find a few items that were cheaper than on other sites, so I thought I was getting a good deal.
But once delivery got added and I took a closer look at the quality, it felt like the goalposts had moved a bit. What started out seeming like good value ended up feeling average. I might use them again if there’s a sale, but I wouldn’t rush back at full price

"Delivery didn’t match what they promised"
I ordered from Viridian Bay and, to be fair, the item did eventually show up. But the shipping was definitely slower than what they made it sound like it would be. I was expecting it to arrive within the timeframe they promised, and that didn’t happen. The tracking updates were also delayed, which made the whole thing more annoying. Not the worst experience ever, but when a company promises certain shipping times and communication, I expect them to actually follow through. 3 stars.

"Hard to get an update when I needed one"
I emailed viridianbay.com about my order and didn’t hear anything back for days. I also tried using the contact form, thinking maybe my email got missed, but I still never got a proper response.
To be fair, I understand businesses can get busy and delays happen, but I was only asking for a simple update. It left me feeling like no one was really checking messages, so I’d be hesitant to order again unless they improve their customer service
"Packaging wasn’t great, but also kind of fine"
The box showed up bent, so at first I was a little annoyed and thought the packaging could’ve been better. But the items inside were totally fine, so I can’t complain too much. It looked rough, but it did its job, I guess.
"Listing was really misleading"
I was annoyed when this showed up because it looked nothing like the photos. The size wasn’t what I expected, and the material details were off too. The whole description was just unclear and way too inaccurate

"Works fine, but the design could use a refresh"
The site does the job, and I was able to use it without any major issues. That said, the overall design feels a little dated and somewhat cluttered to me. Some of the colors don’t seem to fit together that well, and a few pages feel like they could use a bit more polish. It’s not terrible, but it didn’t give me the strongest first impression

"Return was fine, refund was a little slow"
I sent it back and the return itself went fine, no real hassle. The refund did come through after a few days, so it worked out, it just took a bit longer than I expected, a bit longer for sure.

"Assembly was kind of a hassle"
It looks nice now that it’s together, but the assembly was... I mean, it took longer than I thought it would. A few pieces didn’t line up very easily, and the instructions could definitely be clearer. It wasn’t horrible, just a little frustrating in the moment.

I might be overthinking it, but everything seemed to match my order perfectly. Nothing was missing or messed up, so I really don’t have any complaints.

I tried using Viridian Bay and got annoyed. The pages were slow, the menu didn’t really make sense, and I kept clicking around just trying to find basic info. A few of the buttons were vague too, so I wasn’t even sure what would happen if I clicked them. The wording on the site felt kind of polished in that corporate way, but it didn’t actually help me understand anything, which makes me trust it less. I gave up after a while. They really need to make the site simpler and more straightforward.
